Puzzle number 1 finished!

This was an easy 100 piece. We are practicing many things building puzzles, but mostly we practice synergy.  Our goal is to work as a team to finish puzzles.

We are trying to make sense of our data we collected on Friday...it wasn't easy, but we persevered and got it done.  

Friction experiment

We are measuring how much force it takes to start an object moving. We've made our predictions, now it's time to get some results.

Reflex Math for Ipads

Mr. Copp was kind enough to drop by yesterday and put the Reflex Math App on our Ipads.  You'll be happy to know that our class has solved over 50,000 math facts so far.  We are 62% fluent in our addition and subtraction math facts already.  We also have mastered over 1,800 math facts as a class.

I want to say congratulations to Nate and Jacob who have mastered 100% of their addition and subtraction math facts!

Guppy Babies!

Welcome to our new baby guppies.  There are 2 new guppies born over the break.  The kids spotted them with much excitement some time into our morning.  They will spend the next several weeks in the breeder tank staying safe from the other fish and will eventually be released into the tank to swim with the rest of our fish in the tank.
